West Sands, St. Andrews

We were very lucky with the weather today, bright and dry unlike some poor souls whose houses and businesses have been flooded by the recent bad weather.
This is Maeve's birthday, she's now 8yrs old, so as a treat we went through to St.Andrews to have a walk on the West Sands and later a picnic in the grounds of the cathedral.
Lots of people and dogs enjoying a walk on the sands including this horse and rider accompanied by the rider's dog.
