A quiet second Christmas Day
It's what the Dutch say, we have a first and a second Christmas Day. I didn't do much, I finished my book and at the moment am watching The Elf. I never saw it before, it's entertaining enough.
The book I finished is the Dutch translation of The green shore, by Natalie Bakopoulos. It is set in Greece, from 1967 till 1974, the time when the army took over control in Greece. I picked it up at the library, because I find it interesting to learn more about a history I am not very familiar with. At times it was a bit too much about the romances of the main characters, but still, I liked it. I rated it four out of five stars on Goodreads.
