Farewell old Friends!

They've kept my tootsies warm and cosy for a long time but I'm afraid they've had their day, usurped by a pair of up-and-coming, young, maroon lads. Such are the vagaries of slipper life.
Made my way along to see the Jambos in a seasonally optimistic mood this afternoon, selected scarf to the fore, but it needed more than just a lucky scarf I'm afraid as we were well and truly gubbed. Undeterred, I'll go with the other scarf next time!!
As consolation, I knocked up a turkey, cocktail sausage and Brussels sprout curry for the tea. Accompanied by a decent bottle of beer. Ace!
