Shadow's Boxing Day......

.........in the old tradition, Shadow got one of his presents today. Once he got the paper off, he proceeded to chew the plastic rings into shreds (as usual!) before being happy with the "tuggy" bit!

We all had a lovely day yesterday and Anni produced a splendid Christmas Dinner - but refused any help whatsoever! I always feel rather guilty but I cannot persuade her to let me assist in any way!

I had some super presents including new sheepskin slippers and a box of my favourite (but expensive) perfumes - there are 6 different ones in the box in the most beautifully shaped bottles which, even if they were empty, would be a joy to own - they are so pretty!

It's been a lovely day - (yesterday too!) - but the forecast is for more high winds and rain.

I really hope everyone has had as good a Christmas as we did and we now have the New Year to look forward to - the days are getting longer to cheer us into 2014.
