Snowing!

As lovely as it is to go away skiing, leaving on Boxing Day means our Christmas Day was rather hectic as we had to make sure there were no leftovers (and I do love Christmas leftovers!), clear the fridge, take down the Christmas tree and pack...and no slothing in front of all that wonderful Christmas telly which I enjoy doing. In other words, I don't think we will be going away on Boxing Day again!

We were up early to get to the airport - taking a detour to get out of our village as the roads were still blocked due to flooding.

A bit of a tiring day travelling and from the moment we landed at Zurich airport it has been snowing all day. The locals here are pleased as up till now there has not been much snow - in fact they had a 'green' Christmas with no snow in the village, but then today it has not stopped all day. It was difficult to get a photo as there was not much visibility, so as we drove into the village we stopped at this church so I could take this photo. You can see all the snow on my lens, it was really coming down quite thickly. And we got then stuck in the snow so the boys had to get out and push the car to get going again...the things we do for a blip!
