Boxing Day on Grisedale Pike

Time to walk off yesterday's goose! Weather was both cloudy and sunny with almost no wind. There is just a dusting of snow above about 500 meters. Some beautiful views, skiddaw had a blanket of cloud on it which amazingly didn't move all day.

I had planned to take the SLR today but last night noticed the battery was a bit flat so I charged it up overnight . This morning I grabbed the camera bag but forgot the battery which was still in the charger. I'm still impressed with how well the iPhone copes. I like the HDR which can help a bit on very contrasty landscapes.
