Last Man Standing

Except even the little snowman inside has given up against Colin.

It is all packed away now. In the past it's because I've been keen to draw a line under Christmas and move on, this year I wanted to seal it up while everything was so perfect.

The boys are flitting in and out meeting up with chums: Teddy with his tablet to play Minecraft and Charlie with his penknife to carve his name in trees and whittle anything he can get his hands on.

The remains of the duck are in the slow cooker simmering in plum & hoisin sauce: I'm going to make some wraps later and do a Boxing Day version of Peking duck with yesterday's leftover cabbage and carrots.

I can't remember a happier and more relaxed Christmas.
