Calm before the storm

Five in a Nissan Micra is a bit of a squash so I volunteered to stay closer to home while the others ventured further afield.

This view of Kitchen Cove and Roskerrig is deceptively picture-postcard-ish. There is a storm approaching us - and it looks as if its going to be worse than we've had so far. I'm worried.

So if we go off line for a while after tonight, the reason will probably be that storms and our broadband connection don't mix - we get our signal from an antenna across the bay high on Mount Gabriel.

Off to batten down the hatches!
