Sparkling Yule Log...

This shot is straight out of the camera - the light was just gorgeous today.

The frost was clinging on to the lower ground where the sunlight hadn't reached with its warming rays, giving a glorious sparkle on this broken branch.

It felt so so good to get out with my DSLR, tripod and various lenses - been far too long. A mindful and focussed start to the day - wonderful.
