The spirit of Christmas

The entrance to the newly-refurbished Cheese and Grain is decorated because The Big Christmas took place there on Christmas Day. Residents of Frome who live alone, receive a pension or couldn’t afford a good Christmas were welcomed for Frome’s Big Christmas Get-together. The event was run by volunteers and I really admire those who give their time so generously, with all the volunteer places being filled by October - that's the true spirit of Christmas.
