Merry Christmas

After a lovely long lie-in, Fred and I took the Jack Russells for a walk around the Islands. The River Ness was really high and fast-flowing. Parts of the Islands were submerged in the torrent - certainly you'd need your wellies if not waders to picnic on some of those benches. We met many other dog walkers and a chap in a Rudolph onesie - that's the spirit! On the north bank of the Ness, one of the old trees had come down across the wall to tumble into the river. The other trees still stood tall.

The Christmas Day festivities began in full once Fred, Heath and I (no JRs) arrived at Cradlehall. There was present unwrapping (where Benny joined in the fun - paper shredding - see blip), much eating (a splendid dinner - thanks, Mum), charades, Wii (thanks, Rory), and a walk with Benny, Fred and Rory.

Merry Christmas, blippers!
