Merry Christmas

I just could not believe the contrast in the sea and the weather from yesterdays wild and stormy to today's calm and balmy! Rachel and I took a walk around the headland, we could have sat on the beach all day basking in the sun and being in awe of the amazing light. We didn't though as we went to the community swim, the swimmers must have been very relieved to be taking the plunge today!! This is a bit of art next to the sign for Ahakista, it's always seemed a bit irrelevant to me as the view is so stunning here but the way they were silhouetted in the sun was quite appealing.
Off to enjoy dinner with friends.
