Historic Loretto Chapel Spiral Staircase

Went to a Christmas service today at this lovely chapel in Santa Fe. It's said that the nuns prayed for a miracle to have a staircase up to the choir loft. A main appeared on a donkey with a saw and hammer. He made this lovely staircase without the railing. It's sort of a miracle how it stays up. Had a lovely Christmas day, hope you did too.
