Looks Good To Me

Squalicum Sunset

After all the advance festivities in Seattle over a week ago, today was a very subdued, almost-non-event -- but that was fine with us.

I was feeling very lethargic and felt the need for a change of scenery. Cynthia was game, so we got in the car and I took her on a short mystery tour. It was a mystery for us both, because I couldn't remember how to get to the place I was looking for -- I'd only been there once before.

After consulting my Maps app a few times, I finally found our destination, and we enjoyed the short walk to the beach at Little Squalicum Park. C hadn't bothered to take a camera, and regretted it when we got to the beach.

I'd taken two cameras -- three if you count the iPhone -- so I loaned her the Olympus. Then I discovered that the Panny battery was dead. I had a spare battery, but I'd left it in my camera bag in the car. The extra exercise fetching it was good for me.

I hope you all had the kind of Christmas you deserved wished for.
