The walk after lunch

I have invented a new word 'friend surfing'. It means going round to different sets of friends on Christmas Day.

My first Christmas Day in London for a good while, I went round to Ian's in Hoxton for the turkey, which was truly fabulous.

I loved watching Suki circling as Colin carved.

Then Yumi preparing sprouts (I don't know wether they are eaten in Japan.

A full table with Corrie and hot and sour pickled prawns c/o me.

After the walk I ended up at Isobel and Anthony's in Islington for Christmas pudding, before heading back to the Kingsland Road and eventually back home. A good day.
