Charleston

After visiting Magnolia Plantation, which is beautiful, including the gators that are slipping around the swamps, we arrived in Charleston. This city has such a great vibe about it. I prefer it to Savannah actually, it might be bigger and less quaint, but it feels much more lived in, and the architecture is stunning throughout. Again, it brings back memories of Edinburgh - with a definitely more tropical touch. Had dinner (chicken, okra, green tomatoes, and yes, all fried) at Jestine's and a nice wander about until after dark.
