Yultide morning

Got up very early and went to the Cathedral to watch and photograph in the morning sunrise light, meditated on the rise of christianity from a morning in Nazareth to the building of a huge cathedral as a symbol of power to the violence of the burning and ruination to that building to the gross commercialisation of a simple event. As an atheist I still find this time worthwhile as a time to contemplate and get in touch with beauty , family and community.
