Ba Humbug

DDW December 2013 Challenge Day 25: Christmas Day

My first spectate at the Kirkwall Ba. This is a shot at the very beginning as the Ba was being thrown in. Today it lasted 3 hours, 2 of those in cold rain but I'm pretty sure the boys barely noticed that. Shoes, socks, legs and anything else are gaffa taped on tightly to try and withstand the mass scrum. And shouts of 'you're standing on my *$^£%*& face' can be heard.

We also watched the Mens Ba start...you really don't want to get in the way of that one! Their footfall was thundering as they fought into their first scrum.
