Not a Christmas blip.

This is a strange Xmas for us, we think it's the first we've had at home for over 20 years, usually we've been somewhere warm on a walking holiday or at our daughter's, kettwigefrau. To add to the strangeness, we actually celebrated Christmas ten days ago while son mudman was home from Algeria.
We've been for a very pleasant walk, spoken to both offspring on the phone, now it's time to get the bird in the oven and open a bottle of a nice white wine.
