Bright Angel
Bright Angel Park suspension bridge across the Koksilah River.
"Jack Fleetwood, a lifetime Cowichan Valley resident, along with his wife Mabel Fleetwood, donated 4.13ha of land to the government in 1958 for park use. Jack, an Irish Catholic, strongly believed in guardian angels and named the park in honor of these guiding spirits. Jack was a well respected business owner, as well as a writer. He wrote many poems inspired by the natural beauty of Bright Angel Park. " CVRD
