Today's blip was taken on Ringley Old Bridge, a few minutes walk from where my mum lives.
The bridge crosses the River Irwell and links Ringley with Stoneclough. Bolton is only a few miles away.
A bridge has been located here since the 17th century.

This was supposed to be a bit more arty, to show off symmetry and texture in arty black and white; but then my mum's little chihuahua (Mungo Jerry) decided to make himself known.

Who says I don't have a sense of humour?
