Soggy rooftops

The wind and gales continue. At least we seem to have escaped the damage and floods plaguing southern England.

Busy morning at work, cakes at 10am for the 9 of us there. The xmas indulgences have started already.

Xmas housework - well not really, just the usual stuff with fairy lights on!

A brisk walk up Calton Hill with Bailey before it got dark and we managed to dodge the showers so stayed dry. It certainly blew the cobwebs away and set Bailey's jowls a flapping.

Nipped out to Asda before it shut at 7 as i'd remembered I needed a few bits and also hadn't bought any christmas evening beers for OH. It was busier than normal, no getting away from it but there were so many staff on that there were no queues.
In fact i'd say there were more staff working than customers in there and there were no empty veg shelves or the like whereas in previous years it often looks like the shelves have been cleared by plagues of locusts.

Have finally just spent the last three and a half hours wrapping pressies. At least its done earlier than last year where I was doing them on Christmas morning ready to take out with me.

Happy Christmas fellow blippers. Have a cool yule x
