Post Storm

I had not watched any local news so had not realised how much damage there had been. The Avon has burst its banks between Chippenham and Melksham, more than I have seen in some time.

This is Lacock Abbey with a new water feature in the front garden. I managed to get there no probe as I have an old but very reliable Pajero 4x4 (Facebook video posted) to play with but some idiot in cars were trying to drive through the river, surprised they were not washed away. There were two low loaders picking cars out and making their Christmas bonus; clever and resourceful guys.
