How much longer?!

This pretty much sums up my morning today!

Thankfully we got off lightly from the storm last night, with the loss of a flower pot and a minor leak in the conservatory.

Hubby was working today so daughterA and I spent the morning festive baking. We have successfully made mince pies, gingerbread, spiced shortbread, sausage rolls, jam tarts and a Yule log! DaughterA has created some very impressive bakes, but amused herself more by setting this timer for the longest time and hiding it on top of the kitchen cupboards that I am too short to reach the top of!

We then went out for a lovely Christmas Eve meal before meeting a friend for a few drinks. Now home early to make sure we're all tucked up in bed before Santa gets here!
