A miracle happened today

I said a little prayer for our patients to get home for Christmas.
I managed to get them all home and then there was a hairy moment when we thought we may have to stay open.
But by a miracle all is well. As I switched off the lights and shut up the ward I said a little thankyou and joined those close to my heart for Christmas Eve.
