Mulled

Scents of pine and spice,
Sparkling colours in soft light.
Mulled heart and home.

Apparently the word mulled means to think things over, to contemplate... it is also applied to warm spiced and fruity wine ..... so it seems a totally appropriate word for Christmas, when we enjoy spices fruit and scent and think and share time with our families, be they blood relations or otherwise.
