Lunch alfresco
Finally a day I could let the little bunnies out without fear of them blowing away, I also had my lunch outside with them, Kirk tried to steal my mince pie.
But today was special for another reason....
This time last year I spotted that our local rabbit rescue had some French Lops, we were starting to consider another house bunny after we lost Queen Zara and we particularly wanted giants, so I rang them up and spoke to the bunny lady and she said come along.
Never did we believe that we would be coming home with our two gorgeous boys (though we did have a carrier just in case).
We must have past the bunny keeping test with my answers to the questions, the bunny lady doesn't let everyone go home with a bunny she has to be satisfied they are going to a good home. And so we picked the two boys.
In the past year they have caused us some worry, cost us lots of money and have grown into two cheeky buns who love each other, dance around us like puppies, do binkies and bunny flops, love the dog, chase the cats, make the house look like a barn most days and we love them lots.
Happy adoption day Jeeves and Wooster WooWoo x
(It was booster and vet check day for them so in case you are wondering how big giant rabbits are and bearing in mind French Lops and the smaller end of the giant scale WooWoo weighs 5.8kg (almost 13lb) and Jeeves is 4.something kg (over 9lb) in comparison a dwarf lop top weight is around 2.4kg, they are my big beautiful bunnies)
