False advertising

The last meeting of the year for the music group, so we followed the tradition and concentrated on Christmas music, finishing with a wonderful performance of the fourth of Bach's Christmas Oratorios.

In Carl's afterwards, we ordered in the usual fantastic curry from Bombay Pantry. Fantastic, that is, apart from the so-called ginger 'beer' that I got as an accompaniment. Beer it certainly wasn't.

The night finished with a showing of Bridesmaids in Carl's Kino. All the best bits were in the trailer, so it was a bit of a disappointment. Fun, but could have been much better (basically, a female Weekend).
