Skating at Truro.

We went to Truro to collect the Christmas dinner from M&S. There was a lovely feel to the 10 minutes queue, everyone laughing and joking.

Then we went to an Italian for lunch.

Then an early Christmas surprise for the kids. Skating in the grounds of an illuminated Truro Cathedral, Christmas tunes playing. It was lovely.

Feet up now, a glass of Disaronno and coke and games with the kids. The waves have stopped bashing outside the front door, the harbour lights are on and Christmas has begun.
