Now is the time!

Ok Santa, come and do your worst!

Spent yesterday driving round the North in squally showers, aqua-planing through invisible puddles and frankly risking the engine through flooded roads. But it was an important birthday occasion and well-worth the effort.
The wind is getting up again now. My thoughts are with those people who are battling the storms to get to loved-ones or to restore power to those without. We treated our bin men to freshly-made mince pies to thank them for their efforts on a freeezing cold Christmas Eve.
