Maeve the Deerhound and I ventured down to the beach to have a look at the sea. It was about an hour after low tide so we wandered down onto the hard sand in the channel in the rocks, went up on some rocks, and got a blip of the waves. Down on the beach it was very windy. The sand was being blown along the beach when the gusts got up. I was glad I had put a coat on Maeve to keep her back cosy.
