X is for ......

Xmas. Not a favourite word. When I was at school "x" stood for what was missing. Perhaps Xmas indicates that something is missing from the Christmas celebrated by many: Christ Himself.
Another way of using "x" is as the multiplication sign. John 1:16 speaks in terms of multiplication. "From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another." (NIV1984)
