Christingle....

Our local church has lovely family services throughout the year aimed at young children to explain important celebrations during the year etc. The minister has a young family and it is a modern built church. He keeps these family services to about 30mins and is really good at tailoring these to a young audience to capture their attention.

At this time of year there are a few family christingle services tonight and Christmas Eve. This year I decided to go to the earlier one so we all went to the christingle service tonight. Alfie and Ellie behaved really well, listening to the minster and participating in the service.

I managed to get the christingle home intact and took a few pictures of Ellie with it lit/unlit before she blew it out to eat the sweeties.
