The Little Shepherds Arrive....

The Inn Keeper and his wife were just getting down to a nice hot cup of Cocoa in front of the Clay tablets which are known as the local news papers, when a strange sound was heard coming down the street.
"Is that what I think it is?" said Mrs BM The wife.
"It's nothing to worry about my love of my life" said the Inn Keeper.
It is" said his granddaughter, "for you anyway Grandad"
"Oh No" said The wife.
At that the door bell rang and when the Granddaughter opened it to see who it was, then it happened, fifteen sheep and lambs rushed in and went right through the house to the garden and the stable.
Three of the smallest shepherds you ever saw followed them and they were shouting, "where is the baby, where is the baby?" at the top of there voices. Most of the neighbors came out to have a look what was going on, the new neighbor especially as he has never witnessed anything like it before, (shouldn't have bought a house by a Barmy blipper then should he?
The inn keeper went out side, well I say went, really, he was thrown out by his wife to get rid of them.

"What do you lot want again"? he said

"We followed the Star in the East and it bought us here" the little shepherds said in unison.

"Don't you lot ever learn, you have come too soon the baby has not been born yet" the Inn Keeper said. "You will have to go and come back another day".

At that they rounded up all the sheep and left, leaving the poor Inn Keeper cleaning up all the Sheep S**t Poo that was in the hall and kitchen, his poor wife was weeping in the living room,
taking anti-depressant by the dozen.
The Granddaughter said to the Inn Keeper "Grandad, you never learn do you?"
Out of the mouths of babes he thought.

All was silent once again and the stable was left in peace.
