The Joy of Tripe!
When it's blowing a howling gale, the rain is ricocheting off the road, and even the keenest walker (on two legs or four) cannot face the drenching outside, there is a wonderful alternative pursuit that dogs love; tripe sticks.
Tripe is an offal meat from the fore-stomachs of cattle and sheep. Dogs adore it, but it has a very pungent almost faecal smell. Dried tripe makes a great canine snack which takes a bit of thorough gnawing. Gnawing is the natural way to keep teeth clean.
Here is Tally blissfully engaged with a tripe stick whilst ignoring the camera.
