Snowdrift cake

It's been a day of great privileges. Started with Christmas communion visits - sharing sacred stories of faith from housebound elderly and breaking bread over kitchen tables and in cosy living rooms. With lashing winds and rain it was on to a local residential home to sing carols with a 20-strong choir of adults and children. And then the icing on the cake was quite literally doing the icing of the Christmas cake with Isobel as the gale began again outside. A great Christmas Eve Eve
