Waiting for the bus

I've done a fair amount of this today..

To start with, this morning I was late for work because I had to slice and put in boxes a carrot cake I had made for work, so I had to take the bus. Everybody loved the cake, by the way!

Anyway, after work I had to wait for the bus to take me to the post office depot in East Telferton industrial estate near Portobello and then on the way back. The mysterious parcel turned out to be an unexpected early Christmas gift from a good friend, by the way. Thanks Al!

I didn't have a particularly good day at work but it wasn't that bad either, so something in between. It was really busy with lots of people coming to Edinburgh for the Christmas celebrations.

I didn't have anything planned for Christmas, but now it turns out that I'll be having three celebrations: one on Christmas eve, one on Christmas day and one on Boxing day! People have just been inviting me to parties. Can't complain! :)

This evening I'm making a chocolate Christmas log for the party tomorrow. I might go to bed a bit late, we'll see... I hope not, since I'm feeling really tired!
