Christmas sprouts

Sprouts, and the whole love and hate thing, seems to have been a running theme of our family weekend. The shops were full of sprout stalks, and even one of the high street fashion outlets had a giant glitzy sprout in the window!
I loathe sprouts but I do find it appealing how they grow off the stalk like a row of mini cabbages.
