Seasons' Greetings!

Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols is one of my favourite pieces of music for Christmas. The quote comes from a Middle English poem called, Adam Lay Ybounden. Here's the verse in its entirety.

Ne hadde the appil take ben,
the appil taken ben,
