Cathedral

Christmas has properly started; we wrapped up to hear my nephews sing at Liverpool's Anglican cathedral in the very festive holly bough service - atmospheric but a bit nippy.
This sculpture by Elizabeth Frink watches over the cathedral's entrance.

B and I warmed up afterwards in a cosy pub with our dear friends the marvellous Booky and K who are also in Liverpool for the Christmas hols. It was as though they had never been away. We may have slightly sore heads in the morning but it was entirely worth it.
