Brussel sprouts

Am choosing sprouts from the loose box and a jakey couple comes up and says "she's picking fresh ones" (meaning me) are we not better getting the (prepackaged) bag but then they start grabbing handfuls of sprouts whilst saying "she's picking the best ones" whimper.
