Productive day and good job too seeing as it was mine and Sam's only one off before Christmas.
First stop a stroll down to Bowers in Stockbridge to buy our rib of beef for Christmas day. It's a beast! Sam couldn't resist buying a whole load of chipolatas too. He has to have them.
then over the tatty shaws for our veg. My weird family have requested parsnips and brussel sprouts. Managed to find some fresh horseradish too for the horseradish sauce. That'll be good.

John lewis next for the last of the pressies plus trying out some baby carriers. Trying on baby carriers with a model baby in it makes the whole "we're going to be parents" thing a bit real.

Christmas tradition calls for a drink in the guildford, which is where I snapped this interesting perspective of the floor and ceiling at once.

Met Sam's sister, partner and baby off the plane in the evening. The first time we got to meet our wee nephew! We only got to see them a short while because Sam's working early tomorrow morning, but it was well worth it.
