Looks like Andrew has brought her a full sized replca of his head for Xmas. Not sure how he's going to et that in her stocking.

Completed my run yesterday even after 3 pints of Guiness. Actually, I took 1 minute off the time for the previous day which was quite a feat. I would like to say it was the Guiness, but it wasn't, it was the fact that I was running with Jack and he simply set a faster pace. Still, if I can do that with 3 pints of Guiness sloshing around inside me, I should be able to better still without it. Maybe try tonight.

Boys didn't get away yesterday as planned so they should be setting off early this morning and hopefully here by lunch time.

Rachel is coming by train from London. She phoned this morning to tell us that there is a reduced service due to the bad weather and she may struggle to get here as planned. How can a train that weighs goodness knows how many tons and travels at 80+ mph be so affected by a bit of wind and rain? Does this mean that they don't have a rail service in countries with wind and rain for many days of the year? Of course it doesn't, our rail service is just so worried about performance targets service penalties that they prefer to shirk away from a challenge rather than step up to the plate. Grrr.
