Newly opened, the site of 'Lawdy Miss Clawdy's' and latterly The Edge, is now a Wetherspoons and totally unrecognisable from its former identities. The drinks aren't cheap though, apparently one of the conditions of planning is they aren't allowed to undercut neighbouring hostelries ...for the moment.
