Dog-Tired

We traveled home today from the Central Coast. The drive took more time than usual because everybody was on the highway going somewhere--getting ready for a holiday. What a bunch of traffic. We probably should have come home Thursday, but we didn't.

Even though I took a few photos today, most of them are not very good. This one isn't either, but when we all crawled into our beds tonight, I could tell the three pups were more than glad to snuggle into their own private "sleep" houses. So I just took a quick photo to remind me that they do love going to bed every night.

We were at the Central Coast for the past 9-nights, so we're more than behind in getting ready for this upcoming holiday, but that's okay because the "time out" was so luscious and so wonderful, it was worth the extra "running" we'll now have to do to catch-up with the holiday. We think everyone is coming here for Christmas dinner so we'll work extra hard to transform this house into a bit of holiday mood and then we'll enjoy each other and the food on Wednesday. It's going to be a terrific day.
