The parade that wasn't....

The parade that wasn't...........The girls have waited all day for the Yew St parade. We have lived here for 22 years and there has never been a holiday parade. When 4:25 came we grabbed our umbrellas and walked up the driveway to stand along the street. We waited in the rain along with a few other people that lived close by. After a half hour of waiting we lost half of the group but a few people as well as us waited. We finally saw the fire trucks etc and they came down the street a few blocks up. Music playing and the lights were bright and beautiful. We watched as it came out of the development and saw it turn back up the street away from us........( 1 hour later) Needless to say there were some very sad girls...
