Bald Eagles by the Skagit River

We took the dogs for a walk down by the Skagit on this gray and rainy afternoon. These two eagles were perched in a large tree by the river. It looked like they were having a fine old chat. Farther down the trail, they flew to a nearby tree and once again watched us pass by, but it was too dark to get another shot.
