Little Red Van

I took better pictures today but I just loved this little red van and the guys fishing so that was that. This pier is right at the spot where NW 18th Ave ends at the river. Across the river is a huge train yard and up on the hill are the homes in the Overlook neighborhood.

Right next to the guys on the pier is the sculpture Rational Exuberance by Ivan McLean which was originally going to be my blip.

We took a really nice walk along the river then cut into the Pearl District where we went for coffee and cake at the Pearl Bakery. Next to Safeway to pick up all the things I forgot to buy at the supermarket yesterday!
