the Light is coming

I love Advent candles.
As we light one candle four Sundays before Christmas, and then two candles the next week, and then three, and finally four, it symbolizes how the birth of Jesus brought light to this dark and weary world.
And at this dark time of year, it really does bring light to our dinner table!
I can't wait to light the big white candle on Wednesday.
Come Lord Jesus, come!
