Winter Warmer

With all the week's festivities, we were much in need of chilled & low key weekend.

With our kitchen ceiling leaking into various baking trays after all the rain of late, a tiring week of work & Christmas prep & some very sad news about Jenny's great aunty, we were in the mood for hunkering down & huddling up.

Mum left in the morning, Jen battled the elements to fetch some mince pie ingredients & head to the post office, we tackled a spot of knitting, finished our Christmas cards, & in the evening, we settled down to a Chinese, a glass of warm cider & Casino Royale, one of my brilliant Birthday presents. A great film of a man becoming Bond.

Just what we needed. Licence to chill.
